| Canal cycle. We can go either way from Talybont. 1 hour upwards, depending upon pub stops to Brecon, 3 hours upwards going the other way to Pontypool. Brecon is more scenic and has several good pubs and cafes. The towpath is quite good and you can use a road bike. There is a Cathedral and The Pilgrims Tearooms are in the grounds.
